Following the discovery of over four hundred protected birds [1] at the Malta International Airport on the 23rd of July 2014.
Investigations carried out by the Police (ALE) together with officers from MEPA continued this week, in a residence in Mgarr, Malta
The Police said that five hundred and seventy five birds were inspected. Two hundred and forty of these resulted to be protected birds and were seized.
