As part of its series of meetings, the Gozo Youth Council, met with the Parliamentary Secretary for Research, Innovation, Youth and Sport, Chris Agius.
The Council Members present explained their work plan and concerns about the current situation of Gozo and its future such as the brain drain and the lack of opportunities for young people on the island.
The Council put forward various proposals, such as the creation of a Leadership Academy in Gozo, the holding of an annual sports marathon and the establishment of a Youth Hub and Agenzija Zghazagh in Gozo.
