Update: GO has advised that parts if its fibre network between Mosta and Saint Paul’s Bay has been damaged, affecting some telephony, internet and interactive TV services in the northern parts of Malta and Gozo.
The company said that it has established that yesterday’s damage to parts of its fibre network was caused by a third party contractor carrying out underground works.
GO said its technical teams are on site taking all the necessary action. “It is expected that all services will be resumed by today, Saturday, the 9th of August.”
