The St Margaret Band of Sannat is presenting a Christmas Grand Concert this coming Friday, the 19th of December, at the St Margaret Parish Church in Sannat.
The concert programme includes various musical pieces such as: Faure’s ‘Pavane’; Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus” from ‘The Messiah’; Mozart’s ‘Ave Verum Corpus’; a Christmas Medley entitled ‘Beneath the Holly’; Popular Christmas songs ‘Caro Gesu Bambino’; ‘Gli Angeli del Ciel’; and ‘O Holy Night’; and Michael Jackson’s well known song ‘We are the world.’
The concert will feature Gozitan singers Antonella Rapa and Francesca Sciberras; and also Teatru Astra’s children choir ‘Piccole Stelle’ (Choir mistress: Mariella Spiteri Cefai).
The band will be under the baton of Mro George Apap. The Concert starts at 7.00pm and entrance is free.
Seating is on a first come first served basis, everyone is warmly invited to attend.
