In reply to a Parliamentary question by Shadow Minister Dr Chris Said this evening. The Prime Minister Dr Joseph Muscat said that the Cabinet meeting held in Gozo last year cost €6,827.95.
The Prime Minister explained that the cost was broken down as €2,950 (air conditioning services), €992.85 (assembly and dismantling of required equipment), €1,893.90 (rental of screens) and €991.20 (transport, and the installation and dismantling of the table used for the meeting).
Dr Muscat said that the services were provided in accordance with the financial regulations of the Government.
The meeting was held last July at the Gozo College Boys Secondary School in Victoria as part of the Government’s incentive of holding cabinet meeting in various localities around Malta and Gozo.
