To mark the occasion of the feast of St. Francis de Sales, a Bishop of Geneva, and the Patron Saint of journalists, Monsignor Mario Grech, Bishop of Gozo, celebrated Mass for the journalists, writers and broadcasters of Gozo, in the church of the Franciscan Sisters of the Heart of Jesus in Palm Street, Victoria. 
He was assisted by Mgr. Carmelo Scicluna and Mgr. Salv Grima. The lesson and requests of the faithful were read by the President and Secretary of the Gozitan Journalists Society, which was established in 1960 by Gozo Bishop Nikol G. Cauchi, Bishop of Gozo, and Chev Koli Apap.
A number of journalists and writers were present for the occasion. A meeting with the Bishop was held after the Mass.
