The seasonally adjusted index of industrial production decreased by 3.0 per cent in December 2014 to 93.5 points over the previous month, the National Statistics Office reported today. When compared to December 2013, the index of industrial production adjusted for working days went down by 3.6 per cent.
Decreases were registered in the production of consumer goods (-5.0 per cent), capital goods (-2.0 per cent), energy (-0.5 per cent) and intermediate goods (-0.1 per cent).
When compared to December 2013, the index of industrial production adjusted for working days went down by 3.6 per cent. Decreases were registered in the production of intermediate goods (-9.8 per cent), energy (-2.5 per cent) and capital goods (-1.7 per cent). On the other hand, the production of consumer goods went up by 4.7 per cent.
