On Sunday, Mr Franco Debono of Tal-Lajku Confectionery in Xaghra, accompanied by Mr. Noel Teuma and Mr Victor Grech from il Fondazzjoni Kumittiva tax-Xaghra, presented a donation of €2027 to Fr. Michael Galea, the Assistant Director of the Arka Foundation.
This amount was collected from the selling of a Prinjolata that was on display at the Xaghra Carnival earlier this month.
Tal-Lajku Confectionery together with Fondazzjoni Kumittiva tax-Xaghra, prepared this 600kg Prinjolata, there was plenty to go around when it was eventually cut, and all the proceeds went in aid of Arka.
