The Gozo SPCA Rehoming Centre in Victoria is full and currently unable to take in any more dogs until some of their residents find new homes.
The photograph above shows four of the residents still at the Centre, somehow they just seem to get overlooked, so sadly they are still waiting for loving homes, perhaps one of these lovely dogs is just the right one for you, so please think about it, and maybe pay them a visit, or take them out for a walk, you won’t be disappointed!
Rocco on the left, is a male black and tan Chihuahua, about 6-years of age, he is a friendly chap, but would suit being the only dog in the household.
Brownie, another little Chihuahua, is about 9-months old and very friendly with everyone, with a sweet nature, but he doesn’t get on with cats.
Terri is a female Labrador/Tal Fenek cross, just over 2-years old, she is also very friendly and gets on well with people and other dogs.
Amy is a mixed breed female about 18-months old, she is a great dog full of love she gets on well with other dogs and enjoyed going walking with lots of different people. She has lots of energy and loves to run around with her tail wagging! She will make a good family dog.
They have all been neutered and microchipped and are ready, willing and waiting, for their own forever homes.
These four dogs were rescued at different times from the streets in Gozo in a bad way after trying to survive on their own. They are now safe and getting the love and attention they deserve, all they need to make their future a happy one is a loving home, and somebody to share their lives with.
If anybody thinks that they can help with a loving home for either of the dogs, or any of the other animals at the Gozo SPCA Centre, then please email info@spca-gozo.org [1]. You can also contact them on 21553769 and 99475199 or visit their website at: http://www.spca-gozo.org/ [2] or their facebook page.
Any of the animals can be reserved for rehoming and a gallery is available which features many of the dogs and cats that are currently in need of new homes.
There are also other ways that you can help Gozo SPCA, either by sponsoring [3] one of the animals at the Centre, or by making a contribution, which can be done by SMS – available from all Malta based mobile phones:
