The Malta Association of Small Shareholders recently held a cordial meeting with HSBC management at the bank’s head office in Republic Str Valletta.
Present during the meeting were: Mr. Mark Watkinson (CEO); Dr. George Brancaleone (company secretary), Mr Franco Aliosio(Head of Communications) and Mr Rene Zampa (Assistant Company secretary), representing HSBC Bank plc.
Mr Alfred Portelli (President), Mr Joe Ciantar (Deputy President), Mr Lawrence Mifsud, (General Secretary), Mr Saviour Buttigieg (Financial Secretary), Mr Tarcisio Barbara (PRO), Mr Anthony Farrugia (Committee Member), representing MASS.
The CEO explained HSBC Bank Malta’s present business policy and its main aims. He expressed his confidence that the Bank will continue to be a strong part of the HSBC Bank Group.
MASS explained that presently the association is almost completely committed to its drive to help the shareholder achieve financial literacy.
HSBC expressed itself committed to help MASS achieve its aim. Mr Watkinson also offered himself to chair the speakers of an eventual seminar which MASS is planing to hold later during the year.
