The annual Spring Show of flowers and plants organised by the Gozo Agricultural, Industrial and Cultural Society, opened this morning at the Villa Rundle Gardens in Victoria.
The beauty of the Villa Rundle gardens, full of vibrant colours at this time of the year, is the perfect setting for the exhibition, which attracted large crowds on this opening day.
This year’s show will remain open until Monday, the 4th of May. Among those who will be exhibiting will be students from the Hands on Farming Programme which is run at Xewkija.
Saturday and Sunday, the show will be open from 8.00am until 11.00pm and Monday from 8.00am until midday.
The Minister for Gozo, Dr Anton Refalo, will present trophies to the winners on Sunday.
