Gozo consultation meeting next week on the National Film Policy

The Ministry for Tourism will be proposing the first ever National Film Policy to pave a strong, long-term vision to be put in place and ensure that Malta stays ahead of its competitors.

Two public meetings will be held on Friday, the 9th of October at the Grand Hotel, Gozo between 8.00am and 12.00pm, and on the 19th of October, at the MCC Valletta.

The public is encouraged to attend, in order to contribute to the proposal by raising queries and making suggestions relevant to the policy.

“A strong long term vision and strategy has to be put in place to ensure that Malta keeps up with its competitors. Through this process we aim to enhance the current draft, to set the appropriate vision for this fast growing industry in Malta, for the benefit to our islands,” the Ministry said.
