Albert was rescued from a life on the streets in September, surviving the best way he could. He is now safe in the care of the Gozo SPCA volunteers at their Centre in Victoria.
Albert has been neutered and micro chipped, is between 1-2 years old, a Tal Kacca/Pointer X, very friendly, in fact, “as soft as butter!” He gets on well with other dogs, and pays no notice at all to the cats at the Rehoming Centre.
When he was at the vets for a check-up, it was noticed that the pads on his paws were very sore and it appears that he has burnt them, probably through having to survive ‘living rough’ for such a long time in the heat on the tarmac streets. They are now being treated with Aloe Vera and he will soon be on the mend!
Please consider Albert as your forever companion, just look at his eyes, how can you resist them? You could be just the person that he has been waiting for, he really deserves a chance to enjoy life with somebody in a forever home. He will repay you tenfold with love, company and a warm welcome at the door when you return home. All he asks for in return, is food, love, comfort and some walks!
Any of the animals at the Centre can be re-homed straight away, or booked for the future if there is a delay for any reason.
If anybody thinks that they can help with a loving home for Albert, or any of the animals at the Gozo SPCA centre, then please email info@spca-gozo.org [1]. You can also contact them on 21553769 and 99475199 or visit their website at: http://www.spca-gozo.org/ [2] or their facebook [3] page.
