The Floyd Campaign for 2015 has just been launched, it is a philanthropic initiative to help cats and dogs in need and managed by Pink Panther Productions and Borg Cardona, During the first year, in 2014, The Floyd campaign raised a total of Euro 10,550.00.
Funds were distributed among animal shelters Malta and in Gozo at the Gozo SPCA, as well as registered cat feeders across the islands. Funds are paid by Borg Cardona with great help from their main sponsors.
This year, after only 21 days the company is already donating Euro 2950.00 to this fund. The aim of this campaign is to improve animal welfare in general especially the well-being of cats and dogs currently residing in sanctuaries and shelters and other stray cats and dogs which are found abandoned in the streets.
Customers who buy one of a range of products which have The Floyd Campaign sticker, automatically a contribution of 5 cents is made for every kilo purchased. The donation is paid by the sponsors at no extra cost to the customer.
The organisers urge all those who have animal welfare at heart to support and help the purpose of the Floyd campaign by spreading the word and by buying the products with The Floyd Campaign sticker when buying pet food and cat litter for pets.
The campaign is organised and supported by Borg Cardona & Co. Ltd in collaboration with Royal Canin, Biokat's Cat Litter and Lindo Cat Litter.
