Elderly Xaghra woman robbed at homeAn elderly woman from Xaghra, was last night robbed in her own home of a sum of cash that police say was around €400.

The 77 year old woman was not injured in the robbery, but is undergoing treatment for shock.

Police enquiries are still ongoing.

The big brave lads who carried this out must be very proud of themselves. Hopefully the same thing does not happen to their mothers or grandmothers. Shame on you!
