Louis Debattista is reminding everyone that there will be a clean-up hike this Sunday, the 27th, starting at 1.00pm from the Qala Local Council. It will be a great opportunity for everyone to walk off their Christmas food and take in the lovely views and get some fresh air!
Last week's hike was cancelled because of bad weather; this Sunday, weather permitting, Louis said that the walk follow a route down to Hondoq and around to the salt pans, to St. Anthony's Battery and back around into Qala.
"It is a beautiful way to spend a Sunday afternoon: hiking with family and friends and other volunteers in the countryside of our beautiful island."
Louis said that, "we would love for more people to join us for a hike and come and be part of these volunteer clean-up hikes. If you come, please wear comfortable shoes and bring water with you. Thanks to the Qala Local Council for helping us."
