Enemalta has advised that due to scheduled maintenance works on the electricity grid in Gozo, there will be power cuts in (or in parts of) the following areas of Ghajnsielem, Ghasri, Kercem, Victoria and Xaghra, on Thursday, the 5th of May.
Ghajnsielem 8.30am-2.00pm: AREA EX ST JAMES CLINIC, AREA BUGEJA FISHMARKET, AREA GOZO HERITAGE TRIQ L- IMGARR, TRIQ L- IMREJZBIET, TRIQ IL- QIGHAN,,,, TRIQ SANT’ INDRIJA, TRIQ IL- GNIEN, TRIQ IL- PROVIGARJU, SQAQ 2 L-IMGARR, SQAQ 3 L-IMGARR, DAHLA TA’ CORDINA, TRIQ L- IMGARR SQAQ NRU.1, TRIQ IL- MERKANTI, TRIQ TA’ LAMBERT, TRIQ TA’ SANTA CILJA and AREA TA SPISSI
Ghasri 8.00am-11.00am: TRIQ DUN K.CARUANA, TRIQ L- GHARB WIED TAL-ORT and AREA TAL GELMUS.
Kercem 8.00am-11.00am: IL- QASAM and LIMITI TA’ TREJQET IL- MITHNA TAL-QASAM.
Victoria 8.00am-11.00am: TRIQ PAPA GWANNI PAWLU II and TRIQ TAL- HAMIMIET.
Xaghra 8.0am-3.00pm: TRIQ L- GHAR TA’ XERRI, TRIQ GNIEN IMRIK, TRIQ TA’ SASUNA, TRIQ IL- GEBLA TA’ SANSUNA, TRIQ LIBERAT GRECH and TRIQ GUZEPPI BAJADA.
Regular maintenance on the electricity grid is essential for Enemalta to ensure a safe and reliable distribution network across Malta and Gozo.
This is a continuous process and Enemalta said that it does its utmost to schedule such maintenance in the least disruptive time possible.
