Early this afternoon RCC Malta dispatched an Italian Military Mission AB 212 Helicopter Co-piloted by an Italo-Maltese crew, to rescue a female British national who was reported to have fallen from a height in Mgarr Gozo.
The Italian helicopter transferred the casualty directly to Gozo General Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
The AFM's assistance was requested by the Civil Protection Department who were first on scene.
