New dive tourism venture being introduced at Dwejra

The San Lawrenz Local Council was recently invited to follow the preparations being made on a new private investment in Dwejra, which, the Council said, will introduce a new tourism niche for Gozo – diving without oxygen.

In a short speech Mayor Noel Formosa, on behalf of the San Lawrenz Local Council, highlighted how important it is that all activities carried out in Dwejra respect the sustainability, and the environment of this area. He stressed that the private sector investing in Dwejra Bay should also see as a priority the education and the protection of this "jewel" on the island of Gozo for future generations.
