The JP2 Foundation in full collaboration with the San Lawrenz Local Council, is presenting an open-air concert by the Old Palace Choir from the UK, next Wednesday, the 13th of July, starting at 8.00pm at Triq 10 t' Awwissu in San Lawrenz Gozo.
Old Palace of John Whitgift School [1] in Croyden, UK, is an independent day school for girls aged four to 18. The oldest part of the school dates from the 12th century, but has been used exclusively as a school since 1889. It has been a part of The Whitgift Foundation since 1993
The Foundation was founded in 1596 by Archbishop John Whitgift. It has a charitable commitment to provide education for the young and care for the elderly in the Borough of Croydon.
This concert is part of the JP2 Memorial Festival 2016 taking place on the 10th Anniversary of the unveiling of the National Monument to be found on the way to San Lawrenz.
The General public is invited to attend.
