Police have said that a 34-year-old Sudanese man, from Marsa went to Victoria Police Station on Saturday evening at about 9pm and alleged that he was assaulted by another man.
Shortly after, Police said another injured man also walked into the station, a 32-year-old from Somalia who lives in Munxar. Both men were bleeding and were taken to the Gozo General Hospital.
Police said hat the men had an argument in Triq Fortunato Mizzi, Victoria and the 32-year-old had allegedly suffered wounds caused by a sharp object.
The men were both certified as suffering from grievous injuries and are still being held by the Police.
Police investigations are still underway.
