The Visual Arts Unit, Sir M.A. Refalo Sixth Form Gozo, in collaboration with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura (Malta) and the Ministry for Gozo, organised a half-day seminar focusing on various aspects of design in Gozo with an emphasis on the cultural influence of Italy on the small Mediterranean island.
Various art historians, educators, artists, architects and designers who were educated at Sir M.A. Refalo Sixth Form presented papers on the various aspects of this subject.
Other guest speakers who were not alumni were also invited as speakers.
