The Gozo Business Chamber (GBC) has participated in the 16th Annual Forum of INSULEUR (Network of the Insular Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the the European Union) which was held in Eritria- Evia, Greece, on Friday.
The Forum's agenda included INSULEUR's participation at Eurochambers; the Nautical Europe website; and Cooperation in the EU Projects Smart Island Expo and ETIS and Islands.
Prior to the Forum, the members also attended for a meeting of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) which dealt about Sustainable Tourism Planning and Management for European Insular Destinations.
The various topics presented during both meetings created a lot of discussion among those present and various suggestions were put forward.
The GBC was represented by President Joseph G Grech and Council Member Michael Grech, while Mr Daniel Borg, who represented the Ministry for Gozo, was one of the speakers during the EESC meeting.
