Bethlehem in Ghajnsielem project nears completion

The volunteers are applying the final touches to the ‘Bethlehem in Ghajnsielem’ project, with now less than two weeks to go until the official opening which is planned for Saturday the 6th of November at 4.30pm.

The nativity village will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister Dr Lawrence Gonzi with several other dignitaries expected to be present for this unique attraction.

Although the recent strong winds and rain showers interrupted the ongoing works several times, the project is now in the final phase of completion with the grotto, tavern and bakery almost completed.

A press conference is scheduled to be held later in the week to give an update on the whole project. During this press conference, the official ‘Bethlehem in Ghajnsielem’ poster will also be unveiled.
