Remediation work and landscaping on the Marsalforn promenade are nearing completion, as set out in the local Masterplan for the same locality, the Ministry for Gozo has said.
It said that the programme of works include among others, new paving to replace broken and patched slabs, while at the same time pavements were made more accessible. The garden area at the local bus terminus is also being landscaped and planted, as as per the same Masterplan.
The Minister for Gozo Dr Anton Refalo on a visit to Marsalforn commented that this embellishment is very important to the bay. He expressed his satisfaction that the many visitors who frequent this popular resort throughout the year will benefit from the results of this project.

Instead waste money every year in cosmetic operations , spend this money for a proper break water !!!

A breakwater – yes.
Meanwhile, the entire seafront needs a coat of paint. It is the shabbiest row of building on Gozo.
No point in “embellishing” the road and pavement, if the facade of the buildings is so crappy.
