The National Youth Council has said that together with its member organisations, they are against the recent proposal for the first day of sick leave being unpaid,
In a statement, KNZ said that during a committee meeting held yesterday evening, the youth organisations present agreed unanimously that this proposal should be opposed.
The National Youth Council concluded by saying that it remains committed to representing all the youths on the island, whether it is during their academic life or working life.
