As previously announced, Air Malta will be reintroducing the Manchester route as from May 2018.
Paul Sies, Air Malta Chief Commercial Officer said in a statement today, “we are thrilled that we be back to Manchester initially with a once a week frequency every Tuesday. Additional frequencies are being studied at this moment.
“Over the past weeks our sales team worked really hard to source new commercial opportunities and team up with major industry players to restart this route. All past contracts in relation to the flight operation have been revisited and new negotiated terms are expected to lower the cost of operation,” he added.
Dr. Konrad Mizzi, Minister for Tourism stated that, “Air Malta’s decision takes into account a number of factors including the new aggressive commercial strategy, soon to be launched new product and changes in fees and a renewed commercial agreement with a major tour operator who will be committing a number of seats on each flight.”.

KM147 Dep. Manchester 10:55 Arr. Malta 15:15
