A reunion for those who stayed at the Hostels for Gozitans in Valletta and Birkirkara between 1975-1984, was held on Friday at the Country Terrace Restaurant in Mgarr, Gozo.
Gozo Bishop Mario Grech attended and celebrated a Mass, together with Fr George Borg, who was appointed by then Bishop Nikol Guzeppi Cauchi, to follow students and workers in Malta.
Everyone then joined together to enjoy a meal, which was accompanied by memories and narratives about those times in Malta.
