With Labour Day approaching, it is good to be in solidarity with those who need blood through possibly being injured at work.
The demand for blood never stops for the hospitals in Malta and Gozo. Faced with this continuous call the National Blood Transfusion Service has said that there will be an opportunity to give blood in Gozo this weekend.
A blood donation session is taking place at the Outpatients Department of the Gozo General Hospital, between 8am and 1pm, this Sunday, the 29th of April – last registrations 1pm. Please also encourage others to donate if possible.
It is important that before you go to donate blood to drink a substantial amount of water, and take your ID card, driving license or Maltese passport. The Service thanks everyone in advance those who intend to donate.
