A motorcyclist was badly injured this afternoon, when he was involved in a collision with a car in Mgarr Road, Xewkija
Police advised that the accident happened at around 2.30pm, when a Yamaha ridden by a 55-year old British man from Ghajnsielem, collided with a Toyota Hiace driven by a 19-year old man from Zebbug, Gozo.
The motorcyclist was taken to the Gozo General Hospital, where he was later certified as suffering from grievous injuries.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
