An increase in fuel prices has been announced by Enemed, they will be effective as from tomorrow, Wednesday, the 1st of August.
They are the first increase in fuel prices since the 4th of January [1] last year.
In a statement Enemed said that petrol – E-Unleaded will go up 5 cents a litre to €1.36, diesel to €1.23, E-Power will go up to €1.51.
The Energy Ministry in a statement said that even with with this price revision the Maltese consumer would be paying 9 cents less per litre than the European average and diesel prices were 11.5 cents less.
