Visit Republic Street in Victoria, and experience some `street opera’

This Saturday, the 13th of October, and again on Saturday, the 27th of October, there will be a chance to experience `Street Opera’ in Gozo.

The Aurora Opera House and Astra Theatre, are both to be found in Republic Street, Victoria, and each October they these theatres put on an opera production that attracts large audiences, who not just locals, but many visitors from far and wide.

This year, as part of Gozo Opera Month, opera is moving out of the theatres and onto the city’s main street – a new experience for Gozo.

On both days, street opera in Republic Street, will take place between 10.30am and 1.00pm.
