To celebrate the opening of its nature reserves to the public again after the summer break, BirdLife Malta will be organising an Open Day.
BirdLife said that families visiting Ghadira Nature Reserve and Foresta 2000 on the day – between 10:00 and 4:00pm – will have the opportunity to enjoy the Flamingos which are still gracing the Ghadira reserve with their presence.
They will also be able join in a number of activities, including games for children, whilst exploring both reserves to discover what they have to offer.
The NGO added that several maintenance works were carried out at our reserves during the summer months to improve these sites and provide a better experience for visitors.
Ambjent Malta’s Executive Chairman Conrad Borg Manché will be visiting Ghadira Nature Reserve at midday.
