Make Music Great came to a close in Gharb on Sunday and was hailed as a great success, with opera, band music and much more.
Held over three days, this second edition of the band festival included eight bands, three foreign, three Gozitan and two Maltese.
On Sunday morning there was a Marching Parade including all eight bands, folk dance, and flag throwers from Rometta in Sicily dressed in medieval costume accompanied by drummers and trumpeters, which was followed by a traditional lunch at Pjazza Zjara tal-Madonna.
Make Music Great was organised by the Gharb Local Council and the Visitation Band of Gharb in collaboration with the Ministry for Gozo.
