A request to the Employment Relations board (ERB) to start discussions on the implementation of the work-life balance directive [1], has been made by Forum Unions Maltin.
It said that following the approval of the work-life balance directive by the European Parliament at its Plenary session in Brussels, For.U.M has written to the chairperson of the ERB to raise the subject to the ERB agenda so that its implementation will be discussed.
For.U.M.added that has supported the directive presented by MEP David Casa from its initial stage, saying that it is satisfied that once implemented this directive will provide additional benefits to employees and their families
