Home-Start Ghawdex is looking for more ‘Family Support Volunteers,’ to give a few hours of their time each week in Gozo to help families who would like support.
They said that “being a parent, and therefore with parental experience, is one of the criteria to join our team of volunteers. However, other people with child rearing experience, and therefore also a person who is knowledgeable about child development and upbringing can also apply.”
Home-Start Ghawdex has been running since 2012 through an agreement between the Ministry for Gozo, Agenzija Appogg and Dar Guzeppa Debono.
Home-Start Ghawdex offers friendship and support to parents bringing up at least one child under the age of five.
