The National Blood Donation Service is making an urgent call for blood donations, in particular O and A Positive, as well as O and A Negative.
There is a blood donation session in Gozo today, Tuesday, the 18th of June, and the Service is urging Gozitans to please donate if possible, in order to help meet the challenge of maintaining a good blood reserve.
The session is between 1:00pm and 5:00pm – last registration is 5:00pm – at the District Health Centre in Xewkija.
It is important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
The Service thanks everyone who intends to donate.
