A new tennis court has been inaugurated in Kercem, by the Minister for Gozo Dr Justyne Caruana.
She explained that with these new and modern facilities, completed through a €100,000 investment, tennis and other sports disciplines will get a boost in Gozo.
Minister Caruana said that the new tennis court, which has replaced a site formerly used as an illegal parking area, is of international size and equipped with facilities of the highest standard.
She added that a tennis ball firing machine has been purchased for those who don’t have a partner to play against, as well as for training purposes.
The CEO of the Gozo Sports Board Alvin Grech, said that the dream of Gozo tennis enthusiasts is now a reality thanks to the work of the Ministry for Gozo.
He concluded by saying that ongoing efforts by the Gozo Sports Board will see more sporting activities organised all around Gozo.

It’s already broken and no use for tennis. They laugh at Ithe council incompetence in Malta.
