Police have said that a man who had been missing at sea for several hours in Marsalforn bay has been found and is said not to be not suffering any ill effects from his ordeal.
A widespread search was mounted for the man who had been seen clinging to a buoy in the bay in the early hours of this morning, while items believed to belong to the man were found on the shore.
The AFM helicopter and an AFM boat assisted in the search and police officers searched along the shore of Marsalforn Bay.
The man was eventually located on dry land at around 8.30am this morning.
