Following on from the success of last year, Kummissjoni Zghazagh Fontana together with the Ministry for Gozo and the Ministry for Tourism, will be presenting the second edition of the Fontana Wine Festival.
The Festival will be showcasing a vast selection of Gozitan wines which are cultivated locally by Gozitan farmers and produced by Bacchus Winery and Delicata Wine Maker Ltd.
Entertainment on the night will feature Airport Impressions, Cash & Band, Micimago, Dj Remii and a Flame Show.
This year’s edition will be on Friday, the 20th of September, starting at 8pm, with four different areas directed to attract different age groups.
Main stage Area – will consist of the wines which will be available as an open bar when purchasing the wine glass. The purchased open bar glass can be taken home.
The Kitchen Area – Food stand set up by Ghaqda tan-Nar Fontana.
Garden Area – Open space to chill, eat and have a drink while enjoying the main stage
Kids Area – Free kids activities.
The organisers said that because of the open bar they are asking that patrons please – drink responsibly and don’t drink and drive. No alcohol will be served to persons under 17 and ID card may be requested by security personnel.
