Police have said that a 27-year-old man Finnish man is in a serious condition after finding himself in difficulty while swimming near the Blue Lagoon, Comino.
The man was brought ashore at about 4pm and provided with first aid by Gozo’s ERRC volunteers. He was transferred to the General Hospital, where he was certified as suffering from serious injuries.
A magisterial inquiry was appointed and Police investigations are still on going.
