A Health Expo – Good to Know, provided the opportunity for members of the public to discuss various issues with health professionals from the Gozo General Hospital
Organised by the Ministry for Gozo, where the event was also held, the health professionals in attendance included a senior physiotherapist, breast care specialist nurse, radiographer, nutritionist and a charge nurse at a paediatric ward.
They provided advice on proper exercise routines aimed at reducing the risk of cancer, cancer signs and symptoms to look out for in both paediatric and adult populations, cancer imaging, early cancer detection and cancer prevention, as well as nutrition.
The event was attended by the Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri, and many members of the public.
