A fourth case of Coronavirus in Malta has been confirmed on Monday evening by the Health Authorities.
This case involves a foreign national living in Malta, who in recent days had been on holiday to the north of Italy.
In a statement the Government said that the man “is in good condition” and appealed for “calm and responsibility,” adding that there is “no cause for alarm or panic.”
The Italian Prime Minister announced on Monday night that the whole of Italy will be on lockdown as of Tuesday, with around 60 million people affected. The country has reported over 9,000 confirmed cases of infection and 463 deaths.
