During inspections, two establishments were found to have breached the regulations imposed to stay closed to reduce the spread of coronavirus, the authorities have said.
One was a kiosk in Bahar ic-Caghaq which was serving beer, and the other was a bar in Hamrun which was found with clients inside drinking and listening to music.
The authorities added that the owners were fined €3,000 each, with the Hamrun bar also being served with an enforcement notice.
1,030 inspections were carried out in the Maltese islands between Saturday and Sunday. Any abuses can be reported on 21692447.

I hope that the customers were also charged €100.00 each. This kiosk and bar are THE ENEMY OF THE COUNTRY and their names should be made known so no one will again step inside their premises for the grave act they committed while the country was in such a difficult state.
