Another 38 patients recovered from Covid-19 making 82 in total

Health Minister Chris Fearne, has said that another 38 people have recovered from Covid-19, This now makes 82 in total across Malta and Gozo.

Patients are declared to be fully recovered after having 2 negative tests in 24-hours, they then remain in quarantine for a further 2 weeks.

The health authorities, on Wednesday, warned that the number of cases “mean nothing as the spread is still ongoing and the virus has not yet been contained.”

Over the past few days the authorities have also made it clear that “everyone should remain disciplined with regard to all directives currently in place.”

They added that “the virus is spreading via local transmission and as such it is important to stay at home and to protect the elderly and vulnerable persons.”
