Health Authorities have said that 14 new Covid-19 cases have been reported in the past 24-hours, there are now 90 active cases.
A record number of 1,727 swab tests had been taken in the same time period, with 49,231 in total since they first started.
The authorities said that there had also been 2 new recoveries, making 450 in total, with 6 deaths.
The Health Ministry in a Facebook post on Saturday morning announcing the latest figures, said that Superintendent for Public Health Charmaine Gauci will be giving more information during the daily briefing at around 12.30pm.
