A 56-year old man has died overnight at the Mater Dei Hospital where he was being treated for Covid-19.
He becomes the eighth patient to lose his life with the disease. Health Authorities said on Friday that the man, who had several underlying chronic conditions, was confirmed positive on the 17th of May.
The Health Ministry, while offering its condolences to the man’s family, again appealed for the public to follow the recommendations of the Health Department, so we can protect the most vulnerable in our society.
