Repair works are currently underway on Triq Masri, in Xaghra, at a cost of € 62,000. Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri, on a visit to the area also announced that work is about to start on Triq Marsalforn at an estimated cost of €1.2 million.
He said that Triq Masri is just one of the roads that has been repaired in this locality through funding from the Ministry, others include Triq Gajdoru, Triq il-Kumittiva, part of Triq Gorf , as well as Triq tal-Qacca
Mayor of Xaghra Christian Zammit thanked the Minister for Gozo for the investment being made on Gozo’s roads, in particular those in Xaghra that were badly in need of resurfacing.
