Two men were injured after a number of boats caught fire within Mgarr marina in Gozo.
Police said that the incident was reported at around 3.30am this morning, the boats were berthed at a pontoon in the Zewwieqa area of the harbour.
A 34-year old man from Ghajnsielem was seriously injured, while the condition of the other man, aged 29 from Mellieha is not yet known. They were taken to the Gozo General Hospital for treatment.
Police said that members of the Civil Protection Department were on site to control the fire, which took until earlier this morning.
Magistrate Bridgette Sultana has appointed various experts to assist and Police investigations are ongoing.
