An 86-year old man has while being positive with Covid-19, he passed away earlier today in the care home where he lived.
In a statement on Sunday afternoon, the Ministry said that the man tested positive for Covid-19 on the 14th of September and continued to be cared for in the care home. He is the 21st person to die with the virus.
The Ministry said that the man had underlying health conditions.
The Ministry, while offering its condolences to the patient’s family, reiterated its appeal for the public to continue to follow the public health guidelines, including frequent hand washing, social distancing and wearing a mask.
